Mr. K. Shaw, of Queenwood Road, Levin, returned to hls home yesterday after a tour of England, Sco.tland and America. Cpl. D. Dempsey and Ptes.. E. Davis and J. Waodward, of Levin, I sailed yesterday by the Dunera trom Auckland with the W.A.A.C. eontingent which is to undertake duty in Japan.' An emipent' figure in Jersey lattle circles in New Zealand, Mr. 3. G. C. Dermer passed away in Feilding -yesterday morning. He leaves a widow, two sons, Arthur and Montague (Feilding) and one laughter, Mrs. B. G. Connell-, :ormerly of Levin and now of Wanjanui.
