ACTIVITIES OF LEVIN LADIES' CLUB
A hidden hole ccimpetition was played last week by lady members of the Levin Golf Club and Mrs. Hastedt and Miss Herrick each ' returned a nett score of nine. The four best scores for the special trophy are: Mrs. M. Wilson eight down, Mrs. Franklin eight down, Miss Hosie nine down and Mrs. Hastedt nine down. The flnal game will be played later in the season. This week a fourball best ball bogey match will be played. The draw is to take place in' the' clubhouse at 1.5 p.m. sharp; The draw for the intermediate and C grade for mid-week players will also take place in the clubhouse. "" The G grade dompetition was won by Mrs. Lester, with Mrs; Bonner second and Miss Long third. Owing to the unfavourable weather the Hunter Buttons matcb was postponed at the weekend. The draw for the C grade and intermediate players at the weekend is as follows: Miss P. Todd anc Miss Chapman-Co.he.n, , Miss Coleman and Miss Kilsby, Miss A. Todd and Miss Franklin, Miss B. McMinn
and Miss Everson. Miss Phillips returned a third card during the weekend, entitling her to a 36 handicap. Mrs, Walker and Miss Walker are . on tea duty at the weekend.
