NORTHERN LINE OPEN FOR TRAFFIC AGAIN
AUCKLAND, July 13. After two subsidences in addition to the initial eoilapse which oecurred at the Waitakere scenie drive crossing north of Swanson early on Friday morning, work continued smoothly and the railway line was expected to be open for traffic tomorrow morning. A goods train will probably be sent over the tenxporary track which has been constructed and the lirst passenger trams will follow.
