Delegates could not decide what was a memento of lasting value as described in the rule book. The motion that the matter be left to a tournament sub-committee, to be set up, was passed unanimously. .The president (Mr. W. F. Hadwin) stated that, with several new clubs being formed, he expected that the total membership of the centre would soon top the 3C00 mark. Reporl ing on the annual conference of the Council of the New Zealand Bowling Asscciation, Mr. Hadwin said that the council had approved a remit that any player playing in a tournament in nonbowling apparel without a permit from the appropriate tournament committee would be disqualified. rbe arernative to cream flannels was grey flannels.
