LETTER TO THE EDITOR

H. L

. NORRIS.

SHANNON REST ROOM Sir, — You will have noticed in a recent report of a meeting of the Shannon Borough Council that a notice of motion rescinding the approval of a selected site was carried unanimously. I v/ant the public to know- that I | voted for this motion, as I was led 1 to believe at this meeting that the site was Highway .Board property and did not come within the jurisdiction of the Shannon Borough Council. I made this fact quite clear at the meeting, but this information was not published in the report. Had it been established that ihe site was Borough Council property, then I would not -'have been in favour: of- rescinding the original approval of the site. Yours

Shannon, July 9. ___ . .
