DRIVER ESCAPES INJURY WHEN CAR OVERTURNS
Turning over several times before coming to rest with its wheels in the air, a car was. badly damaged yesterday ' and its driver had an amazing escape from serious inj|ury, The accident occurred on the Manakau straight, near Tatum Park, when the driver of the vehicle, Mr. L. S. Abbott, housemaster of the Boys' Training Centre, was attempting to pass another vehicle. The vehicle turned suddenly into a driveway, Mr. Abbott's car striking its front right wheel a glancing blow and, continuing on, turned over several times. He was not injured.
