LEVIN BRANCH'S MEETING The monthly meeting of the committee of the Levin Plunket Society, was held recently. Mrs. Hunter was in the chair, and there. W'm exceileritr att'endance & members. The following ladies indicated that they would not seek renomination to the committee at the fortheoming annual meeting and their resignations were received j with regret: Mesdames Ballingall, Bartholomew and Park. They have • all given years of service to the ' society and will be a great loss to the committee. The president announced that the Medical Officer, of Health, Palmerston North, Dr. T. C. Lonie, was to give the address at the annual meeting, to be held in the Century Hall on Monday next. His subject is to be the "Immunisatiofi of chil- j dren against infectious diseases." The following supper committee was appointed : Mesdames Lcng, • Chapman, Holdaway, Todd, Stan-nard-and Chainey. All members of the society and others interested will be welcome, and it is hoped to make this. meeting an even greater success than that held last year.
