SHANNON BADMINTON CLUB
SUCCESSFUL TOURNAMENT The Shannon Badminton Club held a very successful t>ournament in the Druids' Hall on THursday evening, over 20 players competing. After four rounds had been played Miss M. Fuller and A. S. Hyde proved the winners with 44 points. Miss P. Small and G. Clough with 42 points were second and Miss H. Gardner and G. Fitzgerald with 38 points were third. Other scores were as follows: Miss N. Thomson and J. Parr 35 points, Miss S. Johnson and R. Parr 34, Mrs. D. Richards and T. S. Downes 33, Miss J. Pigott and O. H. Tippler 31, Mrs. A. S. Hyde and Miss A. Pedersen 30, Miss C. Burke- and L. Burling 29, Miss S. Sunley and R. Grant 29.
