f m* ANNUAL MEETING AT LEVIN ON SATURDAY The Mafiawatu, Hunt " will hold its popular point- to-point steeplechase meeting at the Levin racecourse on Saturday next. An interesting programme of events has been drawn up for pohies and hunters, and it has attracted entries from a wide area of the west coast of the southern portion of the North Island. Given fine weather the day's sport will be of interest to all- who attend. The programme is as follows:— 11.0.— Best groomed pony, open to ponies compe.lhg in maiden pony -jump and/or open iwhy jump; post entry; trophy to rider. 11.15. — Maiden porny jump, open to ponies which have not woh a first prize in a jumpnig event at any A. and P. show; trophies to riders of first and second horses: D.
