OBITUARY
MR. CHARLES FREDERICK MOORE ___ _ | The death ocqurred at the Palmerston North Hospital at an early hour on Sunday morning of Mr. Charles Frederick Moore, a wellj known and highly respected settler, j who had res'ided in Otaki for about ixfceen years. ; The la e Mr. : Moore, who was jborn in Christchurch, lived there t for n early thirfy years, following ; farming pursuits. He also spent Imuch time in'Southland, and when ihe came north he farmed in the j Hawke's Bay district, prior to | which he was on the Waihi gold'fields. 'Mr. Moore, who had made many friends -in this district, enjoyed go'od health till recently, but a week- or two ago became m 'hdifferent heal'h and was taken to the Palmerston North Hospital. He leaves a widow and grown-up family, Mrs. Moore with the youngest son, Doug., residing at Rangiuru, Ia-n, the eldest son, lives at Lower Hutt. and Fergus at Auckland. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved. The funeral takes place this afternoon after a service at the Presbyterian Church.
