Search for Stolen Goods Stolen jewellery and silverware was the object of a search of the harbour bed, Auckland, between the Queen's Wharf and Western Ferry Wharf yesterday. A man is alleged to have admitted to the police that he stole some property, sold part of it and threw the rest, wfapped in a rug, into the harbour by the ferry buildings. The search, however, was unsuccessful. Goods Wagons Derailed v About 7 o'clock yesterday morning five or six wagons of a goods train from Christchurch were derailed just south of Fairfield station, which is foUr miles north of Ashburton. The derailment was caused by a broken axle on a coal wagon. Minor damage was done to about 30 chains of track, but the derailed wagons suffered extensively. A breakdown gang was soon on the spot and the derailed wagons were righted. The mishap caused an interruption in the normal services, the express for the south beihg held at Rakaia for approximately two houfs.
