MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
SHANNON CLUB RE-OPENS . After being in recess si'nce the end of April owing to the ammunition shortage, the Shannon Miniature Rifle Club re-opened again reeently when the junior's shoot was held. The following are the results: — J. Birss 60, G. Robinson 55, M.. Wenham 48, K. Prier 48, R. Higgie 48, M. Munford 45r A. Clough 44, N. Clough- 44, C. Robinson 41, B. Lucinsky 32, J. Moore 31, R. Easton 31. In the senior section J. Lucinsky scored 98, V. Guerin 90, A. Birss 89, Miss N. Thomson 87, I. Hemmingsen 87. The scores for Wednesday, June 25, were: O. Tippler 96, A. Birss, Senr., 94, J. Lucinsky 96, V. Guerin 91, H. Norris 90, M. Bang 89, W. Holland 88, A. Judd 86, P. Third 84, L. Munford 83, N. Munford 79, R. Turner 74, L. P. Dick 72, G. Kennard 74, N. Batt 71, H. Munford 70, K. Thomson 67, L. V. Dick 67, Brian Lucinsky 64. Miss V. Birss 58, Miss M. Easton 53 and Miss G. Easton 49. i Last Wednesday evening the membership was back to normal with 26 members present. Some excellent targets - were returned. The results were as follows: — A. Birss 95, J. Lucinsky 93, A.
