This statement was made today by the managingsecretary of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board, Mr. R. ,A. Frederikson. ' Due, possibly to the cold weather over the last few. days, the consumption of power has risen to almost peak load. No cuts would he thade today, He said, biit unless consumers co-operated, rationing would have to he reintroduced. Mr. Frederikson made an appeal to consumers to conserve power as much as possible.
