The council, which met after thi disclosure that coal production" for th> first two weeks of June had clroppen below the Government objeetive oi 4,000,000 tons weekly, decided to ast Mr. Isaacs to convene a special meetin; of the Joint AdvisorV Board to discus the situation. The board represents tlu emplovers, workers and government. The council said the threat of a nev crisis was caused by new factories coming into production, extensions t existing plant and failure to aiiangi adequate staggering of.working hours ti spread tlie demand for electric eur rcnt more evenly.
