A quiet but, very pretty wedding was solemni'sed in Wellington recently when Joyce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Taucher, of Otaki, was married to Ronald, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Urry, of Wellington, The bride was smartly attired in a pretty blue suit with a black hat, trimmed with blue flowers, black accessories and veiling. The happy couple left for the north on their honeymoon, after being farewelled by many friends. Mr. and Mrs. Urry's future home will be in Wellington. They have the best wishes of a large circle of friends. Tobacco Factory Messrs. W. D. and H. O. Wills' tobacco factory at Otaki Railway continues to make large outputs each week, while the work of the staff is considered highly gratifying, especially as it was new to a number of the hands. Mr. Chaytor, who leaves next month on a business visit to America, left for Motueka today. The installation of more up-to-date machinery was made yesterday.
