Contracts for six additional State hotlSes in Levin were - about to be let, said the Mayor, Mr. H. B. Burdekin, at last? night's meetitag of the Levin Borough Council. Thfey would be situated in Winchester Street, 'and COMprised one coxitract for two houses and anjothef for two houses and one double Unit. It was hoped that this would ease the situation. Mr. Bufdekin said he had also been pi'osecuting enquiries from a flrm of builders in Foxton which was ettgaged in building houses enblock there, It had now been arranged that a group of 25 houses Would be built in Levin by the firm on COttipletion of its contracts in Foxton.
