BUCKLEY BEAT OROUA DOWNS Soft f airways -and slow greens were the order dfffthe day at the. Buckley links • over . the weekend, when the inter-club match between Buckley and Oroua Downs was \lecided. The usuaLspirit- of friendiiness- which exists between these two clubs was again noticeable on "Sunday, especially; when Mr. E. Pedersen, of the -visiting club, "holed in one" across the gully at No. 2. Although "Buckley won nine of the 12 singles, the games were well contested and- some keen finishes were witness^d.
