Received Friday, 11 a.m. NEW YORK, June 19. The Russian Army outnumbered the American by twenty to one, and the Russian Air, Force had over -10,000 aircraft whereas the United States could not man 4000, declared the Wai' Department Information Chief, Lieut.-General J. Lawton Collins, addressing .the F* Reserve of Officers Association convention at Miami. He added that Russia was capable of putting 200 divisions in the field. Russia's satellites in Europe could provide another 100 divisions, but the United States had only ten. "I cite these as examples. We are terribly weak today. Other nations are capable of attacking us. Great ports like New York would be the logical targets, and areas like Detroit, Pittsburgh and Chicago would be areas of attack." Lieuft.-General Collins said the last two years had proved that the United States was the poWer that would have to be defeated before any nation could dominate the world.
