FULL STOCK YARDINGS
BRISK SALE AT LEVIN Full yardings of sheep and fat cattle, which met with ready competition, were entered at the weekly sale in Levin ypsterday. Dairy cattle were in mediqm siipply, but did not met with ,a very ready demand. The following is i a range of the prices realised: — Sheep : Light fat ewes, 24s lOd to 26s lOd; prime, 29s lOd; light fat wethers, to 39s 4d; medium, 41s ld; prime, to 44s 4d; b.f.s., 3.4s 7d to 39s 4d; light fat shorn lambs, 25s lOd to 27s 7d; prime shorn lambs, to 34s lOd; medium wpplly lambs, 29s 7d to 30s 4d; prjme, 34s 10d to 37s 4d; store wethers, 35s lld; wether lambs, 27s. Cattle: Medium vealers, £4 2s 6d to £5 2s 6d; prime, £5 17s 6d to £6 17s. 6d; light fat bullpcks, to £14 10s; fat P.A. cowS, £8 17s 6d tp £11 2s 6d; heifers r.w.b., £8 to £10. Pigs: Light .porkers, £2 9s to £3 8s; medium, £3 11s to £4 5s; prime, £4 15s to £5; choppers, £8 to £8 10s; stores, 30s to £2 2s.
