PREPARED FOR TROUBLE IN PALESTINE
JERUSALEM, June 10. The authoritics, with the intention of taking 110 chances of terrorist trouble during the next 24 liours during whicli time sentences on five Irgun- partici pauts in the Acre prison raid on Mav 4 will be delivered, have called for poiice reiuforcenients from Transjordan and placed the entire army and poiice force 011 the alert. Guards have been redoubled at all publie buildings in the coastal area. Prisoners in the Aere prison started a 48-hour hunger strike in protest against the reported request by the High Commissioner to the Colonial Office that the suspected Jewish ter.rorists should be deported. The prisoners asked the prison governor to* forward their protest to United Nations special committee which has arrived in Palestine.
