FLOWN FROM HASTINGS
HOSPITAL PATIENT LANDED AT imm Following an o.p.eratipjn in the Hastings hospital for app.endicitis several weeks ago, the patient was flown to Levin yestertlay by the t^rcivaP Proctor aircraft of .the Middle Pisti'iets Aero Club, which is specially fitted for the carrying of stretcher cases. It - arrived at the Levin aerodrome at 1 p.m. having taken 65 minutes to comnlete the jgurney. The patient, Mr. ,H. Denton, of Queen Street East, Levin, was taken ; to the Hastings aerodrome hy ambulance and was met on arrival at Levin by his family and a doctor. He was conveyed to his home by ambulance. When interviewed last night Mr. Denton's family stated that his conditjon wa? satisfactory, but he was not yet able to reeeiye visitors. He had suflered no ill effects from the journey, which he described as "very comfprtable."
