Judgihg from the past performances of - the players chosen for Saturday 's trials, there is^ no reason why the pubiic should not be treated to a fast, open . exhibijtion. •The forwards have been turriing on some grand football, and it orjly requires the back divisions to produce the sparkling football of which they are capable for tjre spectatorg to witness the type of rugby which they are all keen to see. There are only ei'ghty minutes of play offlcially, but too often in club games at least ! twerity minutes are spent in throwing the ball, in from touch, and In scrummages. The motto for Saturday will be, "Keep the ball in play and throw it about." The junior trial will foe stagedi between teams rep*resentingr the ' pick of the northern and southern sections.
