Personal Mr. and Mrs. C. Fox are at present on a tour of the South Island. Mr. and Mrs. Brown, of Westport, who have. been holidaymaking in Otaki, l^ave tomorrow oh a visit to Auckland. The three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. G. (Mickey) Jones. who has been in hospital for the past 18 months for special treatment, returned home on Friday. Interesting Addres* Sister Horner, who shprtly leaves for overseas, gave an interesting address at the Anglican Hall on Friday, when the attendance was a large one. Successful Shop Day The' shop day on Friday in aid of the Rangiatea Women's Guild was a great success. The fine array of goods sold readily and a substantial sum was raised. The ladies in charge are deserving of credit for their efforts, while donors of goods are thanked for their assistance. Shoot With Live Shelli A gunnery practiqe with live shells will be held from the Manakau Beach on Tuesday and Wednesday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. During these hours red flags will be flown in the vicinity of the gun positions. The danger area for shipping extends 10 miles seawards, bounded in the north by Waitarere and in the south by Otaki Beach.
