RAHUI HOCKEY CLUB MEETS

The Rahui Ladies' Hoekey Club held a meeting. on Thursday night. Miss Hazel Burgess resigned from the position of secretary and Mrs. L. Brunell was appointed to . fill the vacancy. A motion of thanks was passed to Miss Burgess for her help in the past. The club is anxious to secure a suitable playing area in order to invite outside teams to Otaki. Mr. Fannin was appointed to make enquiries towards this end. A competition at one of the 'club's card evenings. was won as follows: C. Brunell (Nelson), N. Douglas and Miss Lynett Harris.
