Mr. and Mrs. M. Moore, of Wellington, were weekend visitors to Shannon. Mr. "Jerry" Beaeh spent the King's Birthday weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Beach, Mangaore. Mr. Graham Spring, of National Park, spent the weekend as the guest of his parents, Mr. .and Mrs. E. Spring, Nathan Terrace. Mr. and Mrs. V. Hood and family, who have been farming at Makerua, have left to take over a property at Turakina. Mr. and Mrs. Tim Stratford, of Plimmer Terrace, have left to take up residence at Petone, where Mr. Stratford has been transferred by the Railways Department. Mr. and Mrs.' Tom Boon, of Tuai, Hawke's Bay, who were visitors to Shannon for the Buckley Golf Club's King's' birthday tournament, left on their return trip home on Tuesday morning.
