NUMEROUS CASUALTIES IN CLASHES
Received Tuesday, 11.30 a.m. SHANGHAI, June 2. The police and military took concerted action over a wide area against students today, raids being carried out at Mukden, Hangchow, Vyuchang, Foochow, Kaifeng, jliungking and Tientsin. The newspaper Takunpao said chat two students were killed and two others injured at Chungking, where troops arrested 10U0 suspects in a midnight raid. Twelye studcnis wer.e arrested at Hangchow, 20 at Tientsin, 32 at Foochow and an undisclosed number at Kaifeng.' Many clashes occurred wherein students, police and soliders were injured. .
