HELICOPTERS FOR MAIL AND FREIGHT DELIVERIES
Received Tuesday, 11 a.m. W ASHIN GTON . June 3. The Civil Aeronauties Board today authorised the Los ' Angeles. Airways Company to operate a helicopter serviee for the picking_ up and delivery of mail and freight in Los Angeles metropolitan area. This was the first official certificate permitting the helicopter transport of mail and cargo.
