Shannon seniors visited Otaki on Saturday and although they * played a solid game suffered defeat by 12 points to 6 at the hands of Otaki-Rahui. Shannon set the ball in motion against the sun and Otaki-Rahui were soon on attack, maintaining the advantage by solid scrum work gnd nippy passing among the backs. Within three minutes Gray kicked a nice goal for Otaki, while a little later Pedbrson (Shannon) had several shots af g.oal from a series of penalties.
