Press Association

By Telegraph —

AUCKLAND, May 26. By one of the most decisive points margins registered here for many years Doug Rollinson, New Zealand light heav_yweight boxing champion, defeated the middleweight champion, Roy Stevens, in a cateh-weight contest. Rollinson scored consistently with hard fast rights to the head and lefts and rights to the body while Stevens appeared unable to find a counter to his opponent's tacties. Stevens gave a very game display as he took a prodigious amount of punishment and was giving awav 91bs in weight. The weights were announced as -Rollinson 12st 21bs, Stevens 11st 71bs.
