NAPIER, May 26. A knockout wrhen the second round was only thirty seconds old was scorea by Danny 0 'Iveefe (Petone) 10.11 in a professional middleweight boxing contest this evening over Tommy Downes (Napier) 11.7. The bout opened at a hectie pac-e, both apparently seeking the sliort cut. Downes measured his length on the canvas following a biow to the solar plexns and a short left uppercut to the chin.
