TANKER'S BOWS BLOWN OFF.
Received Sunday, 11.-5 p.m. LONDON. May 25. A series of explosions caused the fire aboard the tanker Newhall Hills ' and coiitpletply blew off tHfe ship'B bows representing about a quarter of f her length. ±'our tugs toWed the Newhall Hills into Sheemess early today and the stern stood well out of the water. Five men are believed to have been killed when an unknown fishing vessel, believed to be French or Beigian, ^ cdllided with the Newhall Hills. Three of the crew of the trawler Odeanic II whidh sank after the coiiision with the tanker John la Parge are believed to hav-e been drowned.
