WELLINGTON JEWELLERY SHOP RAIDED

WELLINGTON, May 23. . A haul valued at about £200 was made by thieves who last night broke into a Ghuznee Street jewellery shop. It was the second jewellery robbery m Wellington within a week. Between 5 p.m. and 6.15 this morning admission was gained by forcing . the front door of the shop. Necklets, w,edding rings, brooches, diamond rings hnd ladies' watches are among the missing goods. Cash totalling £42 was also stolen. No attempt was made on tlie safe. About 10.30 last night two men were disturbed in premises of an Adelaide Road tailor. Both escaped. Nothmg was stolen.
