Major F. H. Childs, of Levin, who has been deputy assistant adjutant and qiiartermaster-general with the 2nd N.Z.E.F. in Japan, arrived in Sydney yesterday by R.N.Z.A.F. Lodestar aifcraft. He has been appointed New Zealand liaison officer in Sydney» The Commissioner of Transport, Mf. G. L. Laurenson; will make his annual visit to Levin on Mondayto 'discuss trafflc matters with Ihspector M. Kehoe. During the morning he will meet representatives of the Levin Borough Council and Horowhenua County Council.
