Recognislng the potential influence of journalism, radio and films, the United Nations' .education, scientilie and cultural organisation is to undertake a survev of this field in 1947. Dr. Palla, who was one of thA Dominion 's representatives at the first Unesco conference in Paris, said the projects to be examined include proposals to undertake a world-wide radio netivork and nuinerous smaller ones dealing with the distribution of documentary fihns. The basic aim is to assist the free fiow of information" and' ideas and to assist in raising the national standard of production and technology in handicapped countries;
