VITAL WEEKS AHEAD
FRANCE FACING WHEAT CRISIS Received Fridav, 11 a.m. PARIS, May 22 . The Prime Minister, M. Paul Ramadier, has issued a warning that France's wheat shortage would not be overcome until next year's harvest, but the next three weeks .would be the most vitai. If the French lost their nerve in the face of the crisis, "to put things at their worst the franc would collapse." He again appealed to farmevs to rblease their hoarded grain. M. Ramadier said the situation was so serious that France was iikely to be forced to make bread mostly from imported maize.
