Ian MePherson, aged 16, son of Mrs. Gwendoline MePherson, of Hastings; severe head injuries, eondition serious. Allan MePherson, aged 14, son of Mrs, MePherson; eondition serious. JVIrs. Gwendoline AlePherson, aged 37, of Hastings; laeeration and injuries :to legs. Tynette Gammin, aged fohr years; laeerations. The car wasv driven by Ian MePherson and was owned by Ixis motlier. Tne family had .been spending a holiday at Tauranga and were proceeding to Hamilton when the ear oecame involved in a c.ollision with a Jieavy truek. The inlpaet was heavy and the' ear suffered Oxtehsive damage.
