SHOOTING AT HAUTERE
Last Saturday the Hautere Rifis Club fired ten shots over the three ranges. . The scores were not up to club st'andard "on account of a very tricky easterly wind. T. Empson, N. Monk and -L. Monk shot well at 500 yards and omly dropped one point' each. T. Empson and N. Monk tied for Mr. C. Strom's trophy and the shoot-off will take place next Saturday. Monk 45—46 — 44 — scr. — 135, C. Cobb 46 — 46 — 40 — scr. — 132, F. H. Monk 47— 47— 38— scr.— 132, - L. Iggulden 39—39—35-15—128, E. Taylor 42 — 43 — 36 — 0—121, D. Edhouse 29 — 33 — (unfinished) and T. Stevenson 24 — 31 — (unfinished) . Next Saturday the club will agairi fire over the three ranges.
