NEWS OF MR. NASH

Received Wednesday, 11 a.m. GENEVA, May 20. The United Nations Trade Employment Conference has appointed two special commissions to studv amendments to the draft charter of the International Trade Organisation. Mr. Nash (New Zealand) told the executive committee of the conference's preparatory committee that the countries with a favourable balance of trade should accept international responsibility to spend part of the balance. Mr. Nash will leave for England tomorrow on his way back to New Zealand. He is due at New York 011 May 30, leaving the same day for San Francisco, where he will take a Pacific plane for Auckland, arriving on June 4.
