GOVERNMENT REAPS A GOOD DIVIDEND As a result of the races at Otaki on Saturday the Government benefits to the extent of £6528 9s 9d. This made up as follows: Tote duty, £3415 18s 6d; dividend duty, £3415 18s "6d; dividend duty, £2988 11s; stakes duty, £33 11s; amusement tax, £90 9s 3d; total, £6528 9s 9d.
