LEVIN LADIES PLAY OTAKI The inter-club ladies' golf match between Levin . and Otaki resulted in a win for the Levin team. Individual results were as follows, Otaki being mentioned first: Miss Higginson halved with Mrs. Franklin, Mrs. Bradford beat Miss Herrick, Mrs. Simcox lost to Mrs. J. Black, Mrs. Winterburn lost to Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Neate beat Mrs. Richards, Miss Lea lost to Mrs. H. Black, Miss Swaby lost to Mrs Wilson and Mrs. Sutherland lost to Mrs. Ryder. On Wednesday next an extra L.G.U. medal round will be played i.nd the draw is as follows: Mrs. J. Black and Miss Herrick, Mrs. F. Ryder and Mrs. McClune, Mrs. Richards and Mrs. Frederikson, Mrs. H. Black and Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Mrs. Hunter and Mrs. Standen, Mrs. H. Black and Mrs. Scott, Mrs. M. Wilson and Mrs. Nicholson, Mrs. J. Clarke and Mrs. Cameron, Mrs. G. Wilson and Mrs. King and Mrs. Denton and marker. The following is the draw for the weekend: Mrs. Alexander and Mrs. Porter, Miss Hosie and marker and Miss Nalder and Mrs. Wilcox. Anyone unable to play is asked to ring Mrs. Frederikson. "1 . Intermediate and C grade': Mrs. Coutie and Mrs. Bull. Miss Bevan and Mrs. Lester • and Mrs. Bohpek and Miss Walker. Owing to . the holidays there will be no C grade games this weekend; ' : After a hard match, Mesdames Richards and Franklin managed to hold the Hunter Buttons from the challengers, Mesdames Porter and Ryder. The next challenge is from Mesdames J. and H. Black. Mesdames Porter and King will be on tea duty next weekend.
