In consequence Woi'Id War II members hold the majority in the principal positions, and there is an equal division in the general; : CQmmittee. The new president. is Mr. N. M- Thomson, -Who takes over from Mr. fl- lancaster w|ig, prior tp the eiection of officers, i'ntimated that he was not seeking re-election, preferring to stand down in the hope that younger men would .come , forward. The past vice-president, Dr. L. J. Hunter, and the seeretary, - Mr. W. Meddings, also' stated that, f qr the same reason, they wpuld not accept nomination. ' The new executive is as follows: President : Mr. N. M. Thomson; vice-president: He. L- w.seeretary : Mr. D. Griffith; treasurer : Mr. C. Nichop auditor: Mr. J. E. Fullarton; generpl committee: Messrs H. J. Lancaster, J. H. Allen, A. T. Fletcher, E. jg. Winkler, G. Armstrong, R. S. Brown* G. E. Wiseley and Dr. S. J. Thompson.
