— Received Sunday, 7.30 p.m. BRI'SBANE, May 11. The Queensland Rugby Union team showed a reversal of fol'in to beat New South Wales 28 to 25 at the Brisbane exhibition ground. Last Monday New South Wales won 32 to 6. Frdm the first niinute when Queensland scored, the pressure was on. Despite New South Wales' superiority in the scrums and lineo'uts, Queensland managed to prevent the visitors feeding their wingers. With 20 minutes to go the score was 25 to 14 in Queensland 's favour. New South Wales recovered to even accounts but in the last minute a Queensland forward, W. McLean, scored the winning try. New South Wales played the 3-4 serum with Cremiu as wing forward but lack of experience prevented his success in this position. Livennore scored 16 points for Queensland including a try, tvvo conversions and three penalties. The Queensland score included five tries, two conversions and three penalties, and the Nbw South Wales total five tries, two conversions and two penalties.
