Messrs. Townsend and Paul, Ltd., fruit and produce merchants, Wellington, report tilat extremely large quantities Of tomatoes, pumpki'ns, piemelons and cauliflowers are eoming to hand, which have had avery detrimental eifect on prices for these tines. Sizeable yardings of poultry have come to hand and met a keen demand, prices for quality iines being very attractive.
