- WELLINGTON, May 8. The following is the result of the annual ballot for official positions in the New Zealand Workers' Union: National president, Mr. W. J. Wailace, Wellington (re-elected unopposed) ; national vice-president, Mr. W. Harnett, Auckland; branch presidents, Messrs W. P. Kelleher (Auckland unopposed), U. Mavnard (Gisborne), S. L. Mitehell (Ganterburv), E. R. Brooks (OtagoSouthland); brauch vice-presidents, Messrs R. Thorue (Auckland), H. Clarke (Gisborne unopposed), A. B. Cloake (Otago-Routhland unopposed).
