MAN AND WIFE FOUND DEAD

AUCKLAND, May 8. Two days after they were last segn by neighbours, an elderly man and his wife were diseovered dead in a loclced house at 37 Epsom Avenue, Epsom, tonight. The woman had died in her bed from severe head "iiijuries and her husband was foltnd hanging from a rafter in the nearby washhouse. The victims were: Mrs. Rosalie Ida Hall. aged 51, and Edward Hall, aged 65, retired farmer. Relatives of Mrs. Hall beeame alarmed today at not hearing from 4he couple for some days. When they visited the house they found the doors loeked and eoneerned at the apparent and unexpected abseuce of Mr. and Mrs. Hall, they informed the family 's solicitor. He advised the Newmarket police and early tonight Renior Rergeant F. C. Harrison wTent 'with relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Hall to the house. After smashing a window Renior Sergeant Harrison entered the dwelling and diseovered the boclies. V v
