CHRISTCHURCH, May 9. "Mr. H. G. Kilpatrick, secretary of the Canterbury Freezing Works' vnd Related Trades' Union, has been nominated by several Can'erburv trade unicns for the position of workers' representative on he Arbitration Court, left vacant by the resig'iation of Mr. A. L. Monteith., Nominations close on Monday and so far as was known today Mr. Kilpatrick's name will be the only one going forward to Lhe registrar of industrial unions from Christchurch. Mr. Kilpatrick has had ext-en--ive experience as advocate before conciliation councils and the 4rbitration Court. Registered industrial unions will vote to decide on the workers' representation on the court if more than one candidate is nominated.
