Received Friday, 10.40 a.m. v' j JERUSALEM, May 8. SIa Terrorists today set on fire and extensively damaged with inceridiary bombs three textile shops in Tel Aviv. An official statement says that four armed Jews entered each shop, ordered the proprietors to leave and detonated a bomb. Private sources said the attacks were probably retaliation for failure to pay the Stern Gang "levy." Earlier the public information building in Tel Aviv was evacuated after a telephone warnirtg that the building was mined. No mines were found. * Jerusalem District Court today sentenced two young Jews to two days' imprisonment for issuing unauthorised leaflets calling on the community to "rise against the terrorists." It is illeeral to distribute any unauthorised leaflets regardless of their contents.
