OUTSTANDING SCORE BY F. j. GRAIIAM . In a vcry interesting match fired on the Levin Defence Rifle Club's range over 300, 500 and 600 yards the Northerners proved themselves supeiior marksmen by defeating the Southerners. The outstanding score of 103 was returned by F. J. Graham, a first year member, and he was heartily congratulated by fellow competi- * tors on his excellent performance. Single range possibles were returned by A. L. Lumsden at 300 yards and J. L. Graham, Jim Horn and S. L. Lumsden at 500 yards. H. A. Geange proved the winner of the trophy for the day, his 99 off the rifle, plus one point handicap, a total of 100, being a good effort. J. L. Graham gained second place. The results at 300, 500 and 600 yards, together with the total, were as follows: — North : F. J.' Graham 35—34—34 —103, S. L. Lumsden 34 — 35 — 31 — 100, H. A. Geange 34—33—32—99, A. L. Lumsden 35 — 31 — 31 — 97," M. F. Fletcher 33 — 32 — 31 — 96, J. L. Graham 31 — 35 — 29 — 95, M. ■ G. Bishop 29—31—31—91, R. Gurney 30 — 31 — 28—89 and F. J. Bryce 21 —31—29—81; total, 851. South : S. C. Aanensen 33—32— 32—97, J. G. Horn 34—34—30—98, R. R. Rolston 32—32—32—96, Jim Horn 30—35—31—96,- F. Catley 32 —33 — 30 — 95, G. Catley 29 — 34—30 —93, P. R. Catley 32—32—25—89, E. J. McLeavey 26 — 31 — 26—83 and V. G. Hunter 31—32—31—94; total, 843. Next Saturday no shooting will be conducted on the Levin ra'nge. J. McLeavey and F. J. Bryce.
