WOMAN GETS THRILL OUT OF BURGLARY

Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. LOXDOX, April 30: Mrs. Emilv Mauri Olark, the 34-year-old High Wyeombe housewife whose house was found full of stolen propei'ty, pleaded guilty at Buelcs Assizes to two charges of housebreaking, Rhe admitted responsibility for 26 other cases over a pei^od of two years. The police stated Mrs. Clark's operations had been so persistent that hotiseholders in the High Wyeombe district were afraid to leave their homes unoccupied. For the defence it was stated that the woman had reuson to believe her husband was •unfaithfui to her aiul a niedical witness said she appeared to derive her only satisfaction in life irom the exeitement and thrills of uurglary. Rhe was sentenced to three . vears' ponui servitude, the judge orderii^g ihat she .should* reveive medieal attontion.
