Personal The friends of Mr. J. Creagh, of Plimmer ' Terrace, will regret to learn that he is confined to his bed on account of illness. Messrs. G. Spring and T. Pratt have returned to National Park after spending the Anzac weekend ip Shannon. The friends of Mrs. G. Moss, Ballance Street, join in wishing her a speedy recovery from her recent illness. The friends of the Rev. Mr. Martin will regret to hear that he is confined to his bed on account of illness. All join in wishing him a speedy and complete recovery. School Anzac Service The spirit of Anzac was commemorated at the local school by the holding of a special service in the school grounds on Thursday afternoon. Messrs. V. J. Bateman, J. T. Bovis and T. S. Downes represented the Shannon R.S.A. The proceedings opened with the singing of the National Anthem, following which Mr. Bateman. addressed the pupils on the meaning of Anzac Day. After the service the visitors were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Burtt and members of the teaching staif at afternoon tea.
